The splendours of our natural world have the power to draw me in, elevate my spirit, nourish my soul and help me get wildly creative. This is where most of my inspiration is drawn from.
I really like the idea of repurposing and up-cycling materials whenever possible.
I find balance in life by taking time regularly to practice yoga, play outdoors, and unleash creatively in any way I can.
I am so grateful for all the artists in the world who are willing to share their processes and create an endless stream of inspiration for me.

I really like the idea of repurposing and up-cycling materials whenever possible.
In some of my paintings I’ve used dryer lint, packing materials, fabrics and papers of all kinds to create depth, texture and interest.
My greatest source of inspiration comes from the beauty of our natural world. I retreat into nature when I feel overwhelmed by the harshness of this life.
I work primarily with acrylic mediums but over the years have fallen in love with mixed media. I’ve enjoyed playing with hot and cold waxes, oil pastels, and mark making with endless materials. I never tire of trying new things.
I was introduced to encaustic work years ago and have since come to really love playing with fire and hot wax. There is something so primal and satisfying about it.
